Co-op Credit Information

By submitting this form you are verifying that you understand and agree to the following:

The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for Co-op: successful completion of the Pre-Business Core; successful completion of at least 60 hours of courses (junior or senior standing); cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 for 1 or 2 credit hours, and a 2.75 for 3 credit hours; GPA of at least a 2.5 for the previous semester.
This application must be submitted at least one week before the last day to add a class (the University of Arkansas’ final drop/add date) for the semester for which I wish to receive credit.
Once this form is submitted, Walton Career Services will contact my supervisor to verify my eligibility for Co-op credit. If my job is approved, Walton Career Services will register me for the Co-op course (WCOB 310V).
I will be responsible for paying the tuition and fees associated with the course credit. Co-op costs the same per credit hour as other Walton College classes.
I will complete the Co-op course assignments by the set due dates for each semester I am enrolled in Co-op.
The Co-op course is pass/fail. If I successfully complete the requirements and assignments for Co-op I will receive credit, indicated by “CR” on my transcript, which will not affect my GPA. But failure to complete the assignments could result in an “F”.
I will notify Walton Career Services of any changes in my position, including job duties, supervisor, or location.
If, in the case of extenuating circumstances, I feel I must leave my job, I will notify Walton Career Services immediately and I will not take action without their consent.
